Welcome to the Quantum Factor Life Enhancement Series………..

Firstly please accept my apologies for not sending out a November Newsletter.  I have been busy moving house.  For those of you who have done that recently you will understand the enormous amount of energy needed to plan, pack and make the move.

I feel very blessed in my new home as it is in a very quiet and peaceful place, backing onto an estuary and national park.  We have kangaroos coming up to our garden gate and the air is alive with the sound of a myriad of parrots, and other birds.  This part of Australia is a wonderful place to live.  The weather is warm or hot all year round.  The people are relaxed and there is a holiday atmosphere 365 days a year.

Feeling blessed and grateful for where you are in your life at the moment is the step to moving to even better places.  When we feel unhappy and discontented with our life at this point in time, it puts a block to prevent us moving up to the next level.

Look for the good in all aspects of your life in the present moment.  Dream your dreams and visualize where you would like to be and because you are appreciating your present state you are in the place to move up.  If you moan and groan about your present place in life you are putting up a block to being promoted to a better place.

When you are feeling discontented you miss out on opportunities that may be staring you in the face.  You are so focused on the negative that you cannot see the good that could be yours if you lifted your consciousness to a better feeling place.

I encourage you to love where you are and appreciate the people and circumstances you presently have.  When you start to do this you will begin to see the new opportunities open up for you to move forward.

How to feel better now

I saw a technique on UK TV recently that I thought would be worth passing on to you.  It is a technique for feeling better about yourself, your self esteem and your success.  Whatever area of your life that you would like to bring up to a better emotional state can be done successfully by using this technique.

Imagine on the floor in front of you a large golden hoop.  Now imagine all the good times when you have had success or have felt in control and enjoying your life.  Think of each incidence with feeling and then mentally place that time into your golden hoop.

The type of instances that you imagine can be related to any area of your life that you would like to improve.  For instance it could be used for losing weight as easily as for lifting up your self-esteem.  You can imagine all the times you have been successful in choosing healthy food or a time when you have enjoyed some fun exercise.  Imagine these times with the associated emotions and place them mentally into the hoop.

When you have completed this task I want you to imagine that the golden hoop starts to grow smaller and smaller.  When it is as small as the circumference of your wrist I want you to mentally reach down, pick it up and place the golden bracelet on your wrist.

The imaginary bracelet now becomes an anchor point for the good and successful thoughts and emotions that you have mentally placed into it.  When you need to remind yourself of those successful times in your life, simply touch and hold the imaginary bracelet and the action will bring those instances to life in your mind.  You can use those times to help you to lift your mood in your present moment.  Try it and see if it works for you.

My new CD entitled “Activating the Law of Attraction”  helps you to lift your mood and emotions to a higher level, thus enabling a better future to be attracted to you.  To find out more please click on the link below.

Planning the future by looking back on your Life

Here is another useful exercise for you to try.  Imagine that you are sitting you a rocking chair and you are eighty years old.  Get into the part by sitting in a chair and perhaps hunching over, imagine a warm blanket around your shoulders and try to feel how you think you would feel if you were eighty years old.

Now imagine that you are thinking back on your life.  What were your achievements and successes?  Were there any parts of your life where you felt that you could have done better?  What joy or pain did your relationships bring you?  Did you have a happy and enjoyable life up until this point?

By asking yourself these questions about the imaginary past eighty years you have lived on this planet, you will begin to form an idea of what direction and accomplishments you want to be able to look back on, when you are in fact eighty years old.

When you put yourself in the future in this way it enables you to see an overview of how you would like your life to be lived.  It is different than setting one, two or five year goals.  It is bringing to your mind the things that will feel most important to you when you are nearing the end of your time here.

Will your work be of the utmost importance?  Or will having wonderful children and grandchildren and friends that appreciate and love you be more important?  What contribution will you have made to society?  How many moments of joy or pain have you felt?  Have you lived every minute to the full or are there large chunks of time that you have barely existed?  Wasted days, maybe weeks or even years?

Taking time to ponder what your life will look and feel like at eighty years old can be an eye-opening experience.  It can help you to focus on a more meaningful life.  It can encourage you to smell the roses and kick back a little, or conversely it can be the catalyst to move you to more action.

The experience will be different for each one of you.  Try it and see what new directions and insights will arise to move you to a happier and more satisfying existence.

To help you achieve this exercise more easily, I have written a new CD called “Creating A New You”.  Click on this link to find out more.

Letting Go of Unhelpful Thoughts

Each day we have thousands of thoughts go through our mind.  Some are uplifting and make us feel good but many of our thoughts lower our mood and make us feel unhappy.  A thought is just that - “A thought”. It only has the life that we give it.

EFT is a very good way of letting go of past hurts and stresses.  It is a simple technique that can work in a very short time, and one that is easy to do yourself.  You can download a free booklet that explains exactly how to use the technique.  If you have any emotional or physical problems it is work checking out this method.

Amazing Coincidences!

This is a story of amazing coincidence, about two brothers. In 1975, while riding a moped in Bermuda, one of the brothers was accidentally struck and killed by a taxi. One year later, he other bother was killed in the very same way. In fact, he was riding the very same moped. And to stretch the odds even further, he was struck by the very same taxi driven by the same driver - and even carrying the very same passenger! (Phenomena: A Book of Wonders, John Michell and Robert J. M. Rickard)

In Detroit sometime in the 1930s, a young (if incredibly careless) mother must have been eternally grateful to a man named Joseph Figlock. As Figlock was walking down the street, the mother's baby fell from a high window onto Figlock. The baby's fall was broken and both man and baby were unharmed. A stroke of luck on its own, but a year later, the very same baby fell from the very same window onto poor, unsuspecting Joseph Figlock as he was again passing beneath. And again, they both survived the event. (Mysteries of the Unexplained)

Henry Ziegland thought he had dodged fate. In 1883, he broke off a relationship with his girlfriend who, out of distress, committed suicide. The girl's brother was so enraged that he hunted down Ziegland and shot him. The brother, believing he had killed Ziegland, then turned his gun on himself and took his own life. But Ziegland had not been killed. The bullet, in fact, had only grazed his face and then lodged in a tree. Ziegland surely thought himself a lucky man. Some years later, however, Ziegland decided to cut down the large tree, which still had the bullet in it. The task seemed so formidable that he decided to blow it up with a few sticks of dynamite. The explosion propelled the bullet into Ziegland's head, killing him. (Ripley's Believe It or Not!)

Mark Twain was born on the day of the appearance of Halley's Comet in 1835, and died on the day of its next appearance in 1910. He himself predicted this in 1909, when he said: "I came in with Halley's Comet in 1835. It is coming again next year, and I expect to go out with it."
Oregon's Columbian newspaper announced the winning Pick 4 lottery numbers for June 28, 2000 in advance. The newspaper had intended to print the previous set of winning numbers but erroneously printed those for the state of Virginia, namely 6-8-5-5. In the next Oregon lottery, those same numbers were drawn.
In 1979, the German magazine - Das Besteran - ran a writing competition. Readers sent in unusual stories, but they had to be based on true incidents. The winner, Walter Kellner of Munich, had his story published . He wrote about a time when he was flying a Cessna 421 between Sardinia and Sicily. He encountered engine trouble at sea, landed in the water, spent some time in an emergency dinghy and was then rescued. This story was spotted by an Austrian, also named Walter Kellner, who said that the German Kellner had plagiarized the story. The Austrian Kellner said that he had flown a Cessna 421 over the same sea, experienced engine trouble and was forced to land in Sardinia. It was essentially the same story, with a slightly different ending. The magazine checked both stories, and both turned out to be true, even though they were nearly identical.
  Morgan Robertson's 1898 novella Futility had many parallels with the RMS Titanic disaster; the book concerned a fictional state-of-the-art ocean liner called Titan, which (like the Titanic) eventually collides with an iceberg on a calm April night whilst en route to New York, with many dying because of the lack of lifeboats. Various other details in the book coincide with the Titanic disaster. Later, she wrote a book, Beyond the Spectrum, that described a future war fought with aircraft that carried "sun bombs". Incredibly powerful, one bomb could destroy a city, erupting in a flash of light that blinds all who look at it. The war begins in December, started by the Japanese with a sneak attack on Hawaii.
On July 28th 1900, the King of Italy Umberto I was having dinner in a restaurant in the city of Monza. It turned out later that the restaurant's owner looked identical to the king. The restaurant owner's name was Umberto, his wife's name was the same as the queen's and the restaurant was opened on the same date as the king's inauguration. The Restaurant-owner Umberto was shot dead the next day. So was King Umberto.
The British actor Anthony Hopkins [who shot to fame as Hannibal Lecter] was delighted to hear that he had landed a leading role in a film based on the book The Girl From Petrovka by George Feifer. A few days after signing the contract, Hopkins travelled to London to buy a copy of the book. He tried several bookshops, but there wasn't one to be had. Waiting at Leicester Square underground for his train home, he noticed a book apparently discarded on a bench. Incredibly, it was The Girl From Petrovka. That in itself would have been coincidence enough but in fact it was merely the beginning of an extraordinary chain of events. Two years later, in the middle of filming in Vienna, Hopkins was visited by George Feifer, the author. Feifer mentioned that he did not have a copy of his own book. He had lent the last one - containing his own annotations - to a friend who had lost it somewhere in London. With mounting astonishment, Hopkins handed Feifer the book he had found. 'Is this the one?' he asked, 'with the notes scribbled in the margins?' It was the same book.
If you consider that quantum physics has been shown to affect atoms on the other side of the world, it is not surprising that coincidences occur.  Some people may call them God Incidences.  If you look back over your own life you can probably remember events that seem miraculous at the time.
I would love to hear from any of our readers of amazing events that have happened in their lives.   Please email to:  chris@colourstory.com and I will put them in the next newsletter.
